An Essbase Subject Matter Expert and Technical Specialist is required to join a rapidly expanding multinational. Core responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, coding, debugging and documenting software, including interface components, graphical screens, reports, and high level logic for system control.
Applicants should be of degree calibre and have relevant commercial experience working in the Business Intelligence field with particular expertise with the Essbase product. You will combine excellent business and commercial acumen with a high level of technical knowledge that includes Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, ETL tools, RDBMS and Multi-dimensional databases, Hyperion Essbase including complex scripting and database development, ERP systems and knowledge of client/server, basic Unix.
Core tasks will be to provide technical expertise and direction in developing and supporting system level programs. Participate in all phases of the software development cycle. Ensure development conforms to performance optimization and interoperability standards and requirements.
Communication skills should be first class; you should be adept at relationship building with key stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally to the organisation.
