Reporting directly to the Company Secretary of this traditional London Club, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of membership, including recruiting and retaining members. You will have control over the internal and external marketing concepts and strategies with an overall focus on maximising potential revenue. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating and developing event programmes from inception through to completion.
You must be highly adaptable; equally adept at managing formal dinners and relaxed meetings, with the ability to be proactive and attentive at all times. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role as a large part of the position is dealing with people. You should be perceptive and polished, with a good sense of humour and excellent interpersonal skills. There will be occasional long hours or weekend work so flexibility, reliability and a smile are often required!
Ideally you will have experience of managing membership and marketing strategies within the corporate hospitality sector. Any marketing-related qualifications would be highly beneficial. You will have responsibility for web development and database management so excellent IT skills are a must.
