With exciting expansion plans in the pipeline, we are on the lookout for a highly experienced and versatile designer who is able to execute creative ideas in potentially both print and online. As a senior designer you will work with some key clients from concept to implementation; experience at liasing with suppliers as well as presenting to clients are desirable. The successful candidate will have a high level knowledge of Photoshop, Quark & Indesign and Illustrator.
You need to be able to: interpret client requirements and provide cost effective design solutions; design a full range of material, including leaflets, reports and exhibitions; display a high level of creativity in maximising the available resources to deliver the optimum design solution; understand the interpretation and application of photographic material as part of the design and print process. You have excellent communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
You'll have experience of commissioning illustration and photography; art direction of photography; administration of workflow; the ability to provide conceptual solutions and negotiate with all levels of staff and clients. You have presentation (of design work) skills and attention to detail.
You take an accurate approach to artwork and have a thorough working knowledge of print and reproduction. Knowledge or experience of website/internet design processes would be of advantage.
