We are looking for a web designer with a proven background in creating stylish, modern websites targetted at the younger market to join one of the country's most widely-known and successful R'n'B commercial radio stations. More than 300,000 users visit the website every month for a combination of station and music news, events and competitions.
This web designer will be moving into a new position as the radio station undergoes a massive rebranding to develop its market position even further. As the successful web designer, you will not only bring the funkiest design concepts, but your technical skills will be honed.
Your key responsibilities will include the design and production of commercial projects, the design of the website’s UI and front-end elements and the design and production of various elements for social network spaces. You will carry out front-end code design and implementation, and create templates based on both static and fluid layouts.
This web designer will have expert CSS, HTML (XHTML), Flash, Java script, and a knowledge of working with .NET 2 Framework. You will have an advanced working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and experience with ASP.NET Content Management Systems. Also, you should have an expert understanding of social networking sites and functionality.
You will be working with a close-knit team within the station and be able to communicate at all levels and liaise with many departments in order to develop the commercial and editorial requirements of the site.
