Email Marketer

Job description

A vibrant and established full service agency in Essex are currently looking for an experienced Email Marketer to create customer journeys and execute email campaigns, accurately managing databases with speed and accuracy, on time and on budget to agreed deadlines.

This role has materialized as part of the expansion of the digital marketing team.

As the Email Marketer, you will be working in a dedicated team of digital marketers, creating email marketing campaigns aimed at: increasing acquisition, delivering solid ROI and ensuring retention of existing customers.
Working closely with the Marketing Director you will develop email strategies for multiple clients, across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement effective email marketing programmes to increase sales and customer loyalty.
  • Be responsible for the deployment of email campaigns.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Work with the support of the marketing team in building a strong promotional plan to optimise revenue or profile generated from email campaigns.
  • Perform analysis to show performance trends and optimise campaigns accordingly.
  • Ability to deliver measurable results and report these to management on a regular basis.

Key skills required


  • A wealth of email marketing/database segmentation experience
  • Great understanding of customer journeys
  • Highly competent and able to analyse results
  • Good attention to detail
  • Demonstrable knowledge of using data in an analytical way
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Campaign Monitor experience preferred, but not essential
  • Good Excel skills and CSV knowledge
  • Ability to create automated journeys
  • Database management

This role would suit an experienced Email Marketer with a passion for marketing and all things digital, a commercial awareness and a desire to work within an agency environment.
