SEO Specialist

Job description

A vibrant and well established full service agency in Essex are currently looking for a technically savvy SEO Specialist to join their growing digital marketing team, to create and implement SEO strategies effectively, increasing site performance and visibility month-on-month.

The SEO Specialist will be working closely with the Marketing Director to develop strategies for a varied client portfolio across multiple sectors.
This will include:

  • Ensuring that all client campaigns are implemented, tracked, and reported correctly.
  • Effective keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical audits, competitor analysis, reporting and link building activities.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and informing the wider team.
  • Work with the support of the marketing team in building a strong promotional plan to optimise revenue or profile generated from SEO campaigns.
  • Perform analysis to show performance trends and optimise campaigns accordingly.
  • Ability to deliver measurable results and report these to management on a regular basis.

Key skills required

It is essential that the SEO Specialist has a wealth of SEO knowledge and experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, is a strategic thinker with the ability to be both creative and innovative and must have excellent attention to detail.
The ideal applicant will be passionate about marketing and all things digital, will have strong commercial awareness, will be highly self motivated and will be able to work well under pressure and within a fast paced environment whilst adhering to time schedules.

Technical requirements of the role:

  • Some HTML/CSS/JQuery coding knowledge
  • Geographical targeting and local search
  • Familiar with: SEO crawl tools, SEM Rush, MOZ, Search Console, Google Analytics etc.
  • Strong analytical skills
