Specialist agencies recommended for law graduates

Law graduates looking for their first role within the sector might benefit from joining a specialist recruitment agency, an expert has said. Anne Fairweather of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation said that such a move could help candidates to find a number of useful contacts within the industry to help them with their careers.
She added that this may also be the case for a range of other sectors and that jobseekers should investigate a range of different agencies to find the ones that specialise in their particular areas of expertise.
"Using a specialised recruitment agency in your chosen field is a great way to get into a career in any sector. It would most certainly help with making contacts, which I think is very important in the legal world," Ms Fairweather commented.
According to the REC, the UK recruitment sector places some 1.2 million temporary workers and 700,000 permanent staff in jobs every year.
